In this special episode we focus on MESA's sister program Moving Beyond Trauma (MBT), a trauma-treatment Center of Excellence, and a program of Mental Health Partners. Director Dr. Janine D'Anniballe speaks with two MBT therapists about trauma-focused therapy and it's benefits for adults, children and families. Moving Beyond Trauma is hosting several Grand Opening events starting October 8th, including tours of the newly renovated space, a free lecture, and yoga class. In this episode, we discuss the topic of victim blaming. If we want to continue to turn the tide on sexual assault, then we have to start believing people who come forward with allegations. We need to normalize survivors' behavior prior to and following sexual assault.
